2025 CSA Shares

We can't wait for you to be part of our 2025 season! With 3 different CSA share types this year, we hope that everyone who wants to will be able to be part of our CSA. Find our different share types below, and choose one that best fits you and your needs.

2025 CSA Market Model

2025 CSA shares will run for 13 weeks, from the first week of June to the first week of September.

Our 2025 CSA will run as a “market model” CSA. In this model, CSA members will have money on their account, and every week they will receive a fresh list from the farm. Members are then able to “purchase” whatever available items they would like, and the cost of these items will be deducted from their account.

Members may add money to their account at any time during the season, and will be notified when their account reaches a balance below $50. Coyote Farm will keep track of member’s accounts, and deduct the cost of veggies ordered each week.

Excited about the idea of your CSA share being a mystery? No problem! Just select "surprise me" when it's time to order, and we'll put together a mystery share for you!

Large Share  $600 base price

Approx. $45 to spend each week

Small Share  $300 base price

Approx. $23 to spend each week

Work Share    $150 base price

If 5 hours are worked each month, this gives you approx. $28 to spend each week

Our work share functions the same as our regular and half share on the purchasing end, but it gives you more than one way to add funds to your account. With the work share, you may add funds to your account by depositing money into it, but you may also add funds to your account by working on the farm. Working on the farm could include being with us in the garden, working on a current project we are finishing, or helping to remove invasives from the farm.

Our work share hours pay out a rate of $15 per hour. This means that when you work for 1 hour at the farm, you are depositing $15 into your CSA account. You can then use this money the same as any other money in your account to purchase products from our fresh sheets each week. As a work share member, you can work as many hours per month as you want with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 20.

FAQ's

What if I will be gone for several weeks over the summer?

No problem. With the market model, you do not need to order every week. Your balance will remain the same unless you order, and you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off when you get back.

What if I run out of funds in my account?

You are able to add funds to your account at any point during the season, and we will let you know when your account dips below $50 so that you never need to miss an order.

Why should I sign up for your CSA instead of just going to the Farmers Market?

We think you should sign up for our CSA, and go to the Farmer’s Market! That being said, our CSA offers a much more casual way to shop for your fresh local produce and other food items. No need to get up early, or wait in line. Simply let us know what you’d like to order, and we will pick it fresh just for you. Being in a CSA allows you to really have a personal experience with your food. You are welcome to come and see where your food grows and to have a personal relationship with us, your farmers.

Why is it a Market Model instead of a Box Model CSA?

We’ve done both, and this year we went with the market model for a few reasons. First and foremost, it offers the most flexibility for farmer and shopper. It allows us to only pick what we know you want, and it allows you to only get exactly what you want to order. Another reason we chose to go with this model is because we love all of our customers and we want you to get the best selection of produce for you and your household. While some of you may be adventurous eaters and eager experimenters, we know others love their tried and true classics. With the market model it gives you complete control over what you are getting each week. We are also attracted to the week to week flexibility with the market model, allowing you to take that spontaneous trip out of town, and not worry about missing a week of CSA veggies.

Who can be a work share member?

Anyone is welcome to be a workshare member! Being a work share member offers an alternative way to fund your CSA account, and an opportunity to get to spend time with us and your produce on the farm!

What if I have money left in my account at the end of the season?

Account funds must be used during the 2025 season, refunds and rollovers must be pre-approved and will be decided on a case by case basis.
